DISH renamed it’s DVR line from a stagnant number series (i.e. ViP 722k), to the Hopper DVR. I was tasked with developing a series of new identities for it and the other receivers in the DISH product lineup (i.e. Joey, Super Joey, Wireless Joey, etc.) The DVRs were to be marketed to growing families as a whole-home solution that offered the ultimate in mobility and flexibility TV consumption. The Hopper kangaroo went on to become the face of the DISH brand, coming to life in a variety of applications like stuffed animal giveaways to new subscribers and even a talking CGI character in national TV broadcast spots.
DISH Network (dba "DISH") is a direct-broadcast satellite service provider. The company provides satellite TV, satellite Internet, audio programming, and interactive television services to a subscriber base of roughly 14 million commercial and residential customers in the United States.
